As a business traveler who travels to various places for business all year round, I have stayed in many high-end hotels. However, during my stay at Wanda Vista Quanzhou during my trip to Quanzhou, I truly remembered the service temperature here.
As soon as I drove to the hotel entrance, the doorman quickly stepped forward to help open the car door. Before I could speak, he took the suitcase in his hand and immediately guided me to the exclusive free underground parking lot. He also kindly informed me of the elevator location directly to the guest room, so I didn't have to drag my luggage around. As they walked into the lobby, every service staff member walking towards them would greet them with a smile and nod, without rigid formalities, but with the unique enthusiasm of Quanzhou people.
The process of checking in was much smoother than expected. The front desk staff not only quickly helped me complete the registration, but also took the initiative to hand me a warm cup of Minnan style Tie Guan Yin, fearing that I might feel hot just coming in from outside. Upon learning that this was my first time in Quanzhou, she immediately handed over a hand drawn guide map made by the hotel, which marked the must eat snacks on the West Street, the opening hours of World Heritage sites in different colors, and even made small marks for where to take a taxi without traffic congestion. It was even more practical than the guide I had made myself in advance.
The detailed service after check-in surprised me even more. I casually mentioned at the front desk that I had to catch an early flight the next day. Unexpectedly, when I returned to my room in the evening, I not only saw the pre prepared packaged breakfast, which was well matched with sandwiches, fruits, and hot drinks, but also attached a handwritten note reminding me that the delivery vehicle for the next day had been reserved in advance and would be waiting in the lobby 10 minutes earlier in the morning. There was another time when I casually mentioned to my companions in the breakfast area that I didn't have any bananas today. Within half an hour, the room service knocked on my door and said that the staff had gone out specifically to help me purchase fresh bananas. This exceeded expectations and was not something that standardized service could achieve.
What impressed me more was the small details that took care of the needs of different guests: the head rope was prepared in advance in the bathing cap for girls with long hair, and the guests with feet of 35 yards could also find suitable small slippers. I bought Ginger Duck before and wanted to take it home. The front desk took the initiative to help me put it in the hotel's freezer for safekeeping, so I didn't have to think of ways to keep it fresh. Even if I suddenly requested to extend my check-out until 3 pm, the staff readily helped me with it without any hesitation, allowing me to pack my luggage slowly without having to rush around.
Throughout the entire stay, there was no rigid sense of process, and all the services were like those of Minnan people in Quanzhou, warm and attentive. The hotel name is not defined as high-end by stacked hardware, but by every proactive detail to make guests feel at home. For this trip to Quanzhou, I chose to stay at Wanda Vista Quanzhou, and from the moment I checked in, I was convinced that this choice added a lot of points to the entire itinerary.
The location of the hotel is really appealing to business travelers and tourists. It is hidden in the Puxi Wanda business district, and downstairs is the shopping center and Golden Street. If you want to find a local snack late at night, you can walk a few hundred meters to a reputable beef restaurant. You don't have to worry about driving here. There are plenty of free underground parking spaces, and you can directly swipe the room card to enter the room after parking, which is worry free and convenient. It only takes 10 minutes to take a taxi from here to West Street and Kaiyuan Temple, and it's only a 20 minute drive to Jinjiang International Airport. During the rush to travel, this smooth feeling of not having to take detours is particularly precious.
Pushing open the hotel lobby door, the atmosphere of Quanzhou as the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road was instantly enveloped. On the giant screen weighing 2 tons, the patterns of the sea silk sailboat are vivid and lifelike. The crystal chandelier above is designed to resemble a sail, with paulownia flowers and ocean decorations scattered in every corner, complemented by details of Minnan red bricks and wood carvings, perfectly blending traditional sea silk culture with modern luxury. Later on, I found out that this design hides the ingenuity of the hotel, allowing those who have just finished their travels to feel the cultural pulse of this city as soon as they enter.
The executive suite I stayed in has a spacious area, and the intelligent guest control system is particularly convenient to use. After swiping the room card, the lights will automatically adjust to a comfortable warmth level. The ergonomic office area by the window is very suitable for temporary work. There are also Quanzhou specialty tea bags placed next to the mini bar. After finishing work, I can soak up a cup of tea, and the fragrance of Minnan tea will spread along with the heat, instantly dissipating most of the fatigue of the journey. In the 42 square meter room, there is a spacious bathtub. After playing for a day, taking a hot bath and placing your phone next to it can completely relax you.
The hotel's leisure facilities are also surprising. The glass wall of the heated swimming pool faces the city green corridor, and after swimming for two laps, you can see the lush greenery. The international brand equipment in the gym is sufficient to meet daily exercise needs, and when you get tired, you can also go to the wellness SPA area to relax your muscles and bones. The variety of breakfast options exceeds expectations, with local specialty snacks, seafood, and Western cuisine all available. The freshly fried steak in the buffet dinner is particularly impressive. The Chinese restaurant specializes in innovative Minnan and Cantonese cuisine, offering authentic and improved local flavors without having to travel far.
After staying for three days, my deepest feeling is that Wanda Vista Quanzhou is not just a stopover on the journey, it combines the cultural details of southern Fujian, the convenient fireworks of the business district, and the comfortable experience of a high-end hotel. Going out, you can go straight to the ancient city to stroll and eat, and returning to the hotel can relieve fatigue. Half of the satisfaction of this trip to Quanzhou comes from the peace and comfort provided by this hotel.
